What is APEDA Registration?

Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is a government organization established in 1985 through an act for the development and promotion of export of scheduled products. The products specified under the ADEPA Act are called schedule products and exporters of such scheduled products are required to register under APEDA.

How Online Registration Process takes place?

This registration can be easily done through an online process in the following steps:

  • Firstly you need to register as a member on the APEDA website.
  • Fill the basic details namely IE code, email ID, and mobile number, and click on submit.
  • An OTP will be sent to your mobile number, to verify the process add this OTP on the verification screen and click on submit.
  • After the confirmation of the verification process, you need to fill online application and upload the required documents. It is important to enter all information carefully before submitting it.
  • You can complete an online application in one or more sessions by revisiting the website using the assigned OTP of email and mobile number.
  • The exporter may submit registration fees through online or offline mode.
  • After confirmation of the payment process, a number will be generated. Kindly note this number.
  • On issuance of RCMC, login detail is sent to the registered email of the exporter. Now the exporter can log in through the “Exporter Login” link available at the APEDA website.
  • The exporter can easily view the status now by clicking on the Track Application link to view the status of the application by submitting IE Code.
  • In case of any shortcoming, the exporter is required to resubmit the document online.

    APEDA authorities performs various functions such as promotion of export oriented production and development of scheduled products, setting the standards and specifications for the scheduled products, improving packing and market of the scheduled products, carrying out inspection of products etc.
    It is Registration Cum Membership Certificate issued by the authority after the complete application filed and paid by the applicant.

    • Bank certificate duly signed by the authorities
